Alexandra Bocșe

Dr Alexandra Bocșe is the Director for Institutional and International Relations in the Romanian Investment and Development Bank. The Romanian Investment and Development Bank provides financial instruments for the development of the economy and of essential infrastructure, including in the field of energy, while supporting decarbonisation and sustainable development. 

Prior to joining the Romanian Investment and Development Bank, Alexandra Bocșe worked as a State Adviser on Climate and Sustainability in the Romanian Presidential Administration. Before this, she worked in analysis and research in the fields of European and International Affairs, Energy Governance and International Political Economy of the Environment and Climate within academic and intergovernmental organisations (University of Cambridge, LSE, European institutions and the UN system etc.).  

Alexandra Bocșe earned in 2017 a PhD from the University of Cambridge, with a dissertation, on energy governance in the European Union and in 2011 the MPhil in International Relations, from the same institution.
