The 6th Business Summit Go Net Zero Energy Central & Eastern Europe

The Go Net Zero Energy Summit brings together senior decision-makers from across the energy value chain in Central and Eastern Europe. It unites policymakers, global investors, industrial leaders, and technology companies to bridge the gap between ambitious climate mandates and regional reality.

The mission of the summit is to provide a platform to forge strategic partnerships and practical frameworks necessary to drive the region’s energy transition.

Two speakers from EPG will be part of the panels at the summit: Alina Arsani, Head of Energy Systems, and Luminița Gabriela Horga, Head of Clean Economy.

Alina Arsani will speak at 14:45 on the first day, on the panel “Nuclear in Action: Driving Industrial Decarbonization in Central and Eastern Europe (CCE)” that brings together major CCE project owners, global nuclear advocates, and industrial offtakers to define the blueprint for a nuclear-powered Central & Eastern Europe.

Luminița Gabriela Horga will talk at 14:30 on the second day, on the panel “Scaling CCUS: Bridging the Project-Policy-Finance Gap in CEE”. It aims to examine the key hurdles and enabling factors for widespread carbon capture and storage (CCS) deployment across CEE, to explore the essential roadmap and near-term actions to scale CCS from the demonstration phase to a significant climate mitigation tool across the region, and to discuss which mechanisms policymakers can introduce to match the pace of EU funding, as well as how to address the challenge of social acceptance.
