Ștefan Gîdea

Intern

Stefan Gidea is an intern in the Energy Systems Department at EPG. Previously, as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission, he monitored the implementation of the energy component and the REPowerEU chapter of the Romanian National Recovery and Resilience Plan. He also gained practical insight into international policy during his time at the Embassy of Romania in France.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Law from Sciences Po Paris. Stefan is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in European Affairs, specialising in Energy and Environment at the same institution, with academic interests centred on the European green transition and energy economics.
