Izabela Manea

Research Assistant

Izabela Manea is a Research Assistant in the Clean Economy Department focusing her work on climate governance and industrial decarbonisation. With an academic background in Sociology, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administrative Management at the University of Bucharest. Her core research interests include environmental policy and the principles of good governance within the green transition.

Previously, Izabela was an Intern in the Data Analytics department, where she refined her expertise in data storytelling. She also brings a strong foundation from the Romanian NGO sector, having contributed to projects focused on the intersection of human rights and environmental issues. This background provides her with practical insights into how data-driven narratives can shape public discourse and influence the policy-making process.
