Victoire de Sauvage

Intern

Victoire is an intern in the Energy Systems Department, working on a Horizon Europe R&D project around LH2 propulsion for heavy-duty mobility. She holds a Honours BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Maastricht and is currently completing a MSc in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Her academic and professional interests include post-growth policy (particularly in the energy sector) and critical development studies.

Earlier, Victoire gained practical insight into critical development studies, cultural diversity and policy research through experiences in various nonprofits and think tanks, such as Natün (Guatemala), the United Nations Student Association Maastricht (Netherlands), Local Governments for Sustainability (Germany), and the International Cultural Diversity Organization (Austria).

Her skills include conducting policy analysis and providing recommendations, delivering advocacy campaigns, organising events, developing ethical volunteering initiatives, intercultural communication, grant and proposal writing, and fundraising.
