Ruxandra Pătrașcu Maian transitioned into the energy sector, joining the Energy Policy Group (EPG), where she is currently engaged in several projects under the Data Analytics and Clean Economy departments. Her present focus lies on ETS2 and transport policy, areas where she brings a strong foundation in critical analysis, research, and clear, strategic writing.

With over a decade of experience as an awarded social affairs journalist, Ruxandra brings a blend of deep societal insight and analytical insight. Her activity has been recognised through international fellowships, which helped shape a distinctly anthropological lens through which she examines policy, people, and systems. Academically trained in journalism and anthropology, she has explored international diplomacy, geopolitics, and political philosophy through Erasmus programmes across Europe. This multidimensional perspective enables her to navigate complex policy environments with clarity and rigour.
