We collect the personal data you provide during registration (name, email address, and organisational affiliation) to facilitate your participation in this event. This includes providing you with Zoom access credentials and sharing pre-event documentation such as the agenda. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (Article 6(1)(e) GDPR), consistent with EPG’s mission as a research and policy organisation.
This event is part of a collaborative EU-funded initiative. Your registration data will be shared with our formal project partners: The Nature Conservancy, the Macedonian University, the Ministry of Energy, and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests, under a data sharing agreement that governs how each partner may use your information. All partners are based within the European Union and are subject to GDPR.
This session will be recorded. EPG processes recording data on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), specifically to document proceedings, support knowledge-sharing among partners, and disseminate project findings to a wider policy audience. If you do not wish to appear in the recording, please keep your camera and microphone deactivated throughout the session. Your participation via text chat may still be captured in the recording; please bear this in mind.
This event is hosted via Zoom. Zoom may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, EPG ensures an equivalent level of protection through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in accordance with Article 46 GDPR.
Your registration data will be retained for the duration of the Acceleration Areas for RES project, concluding in June 2027. Following project closure, data required for statutory or audit reporting will be retained before being securely deleted or anonymised.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; and to data portability where applicable.
