Energy Policy Group (EPG) is organising a roundtable discussion on cross-sector gas and electricity infrastructure planning in Romania and the evolving roles of TSOs and DSOs.
A policy brief on the topic of Overcoming barriers to the uptake of integrated infrastructure planning in Romania will be circulated the week prior. The discussion will take place on December 4th, between 9:30 – 12:30 at the EPG Headquarters, Constantin Noica, 159, Bucharest.
We will examine how planning electricity, gas, and heating infrastructure in isolation limits efficiency, and how integrated, cross-sector planning supported by advanced modelling can deliver significant cost savings for Romania.
The discussion will highlight the barriers to the adoption of cross-sector planning and the ways TSO and DSO roles may evolve in the process.
Discussions will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
