Digital Energy Romania was launched in 2024 by EPG in partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Energy, aiming to serve as a national stakeholder platform for digital transformation in the energy sector, driving the integration of smart technologies and promoting the twin transition toward a sustainable, efficient, and data-driven energy system.

Through stakeholder collaboration and strategic dialogue, the platform addresses Romania’s energy challenges and contributes to accelerating the adoption of clean energy systems, while supporting the national and EU climate goals.
