Project Description
The project will contribute to the development of a sustainable and resilient energy system in CEE countries, reducing the region`s reliance on natural gas and avoiding stranded assets in the process.
By promoting low-carbon alternatives and developing policies that involve the most relevant stakeholders directly, the project will encourage evidence-based policy action.
It will enhance energy and climate security and strenghten the alignment of CEE countries` energy transition policies with the EU`s broader climate goals. The project will also stimulate investment in low-carbon technologies to replace natural gas use in regional economies.
